Inspired by architecture, this one-off sculptural vase was handmade using a coil-pinch technique, a laborious and time consuming method. In spite of the perforations in the walls of this sculpture, an enclosed shaft runs the length of the corner and the owner is encouraged to display live floral arrangements in it. This ceramic stem vase offers different views from different sides, it defines and energizes the space that envelopes it, it is a conversation starter that will grace any interior space.
